Dak Proxy questions

What is Dak Proxy?

Dak Proxy is DakBox’s buy-for-me service. You send a link to any product in Japan; DakBox buys it for you there, checks it and delivers it to you in Bangladesh, and you pay in Taka.

Which Japanese websites can I buy from?

Mercari, Rakuten, Yahoo! Auctions, Yahoo! Shopping, Amazon Japan, ZOZOTOWN and almost any other Japanese online store. If the item can legally be sent to Bangladesh, we can usually get it.

How is the price calculated?

Item price in yen × today’s DakBox exchange rate, plus delivery to Bangladesh (set by the kind of item) and a 10% DakBox service fee. You see this the moment you paste a link. Bangladesh customs, if any, is confirmed in your quote before you pay.

Can I order several items at once?

Yes — paste up to 10 links in one request. Each item gets its own confirmed price, so you can accept the ones you want.

Do I pay before DakBox buys the item?

You pay only after you accept the quote. DakBox then buys the item. If the item sells out before we can buy it, you are not charged for it.

Can DakBox bid on Yahoo! Auctions for me?

Yes — send the auction link with the maximum you want to pay, and DakBox handles the bidding and the purchase if you win.
